Emery Rug is inspired by different types of metamorphic rocks that are strongly animated. A handcrafted item that combines hand-tuffed and ertufted techniques with different materials – natural wool and botanical silk.

CARE

• Shedding is natural: New rugs may shed, which is normal. Allow the shedding to occur naturally over time.
• Gentle cleaning: Avoid brushing or scrubbing the rug. Instead, use gentle cleaning methods.
• Vacuum regularly: Use a low suction setting to vacuum the rug periodically. Avoid using the beater brush mode.
• Blot spills: Immediately blot spills with a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing the stain.
• Rotate for even wear: Rotate the rug occasionally to distribute foot traffic and prevent excessive wear.
• Use furniture protectors: Place protectors under heavy furniture legs to prevent flattening and piling.
• Trim loose threads: If a thread comes out, trim it with scissors instead of pulling it.
• Professional cleaning: Periodically, seek professional cleaning services to maintain the rug’s cleanliness.
• Avoid folding: Do not fold the rug to prevent creases and fiber damage.
• Keep away from dampness: Avoid using the rug in damp or wet areas to prevent damage and mold growth.
